Sasha Stine

In my native city of Atlanta, yoga found me in 2012! Once a dancer for 20+ years, I’ve always loved the dynamic nature of the human body. Nutrition, movement, and mental health have always been at my core. My background is in biology, anatomy, writing & cultural studies, so yoga became the perfect fit for me!

   After a tragic family loss in 2012, I quickly discovered just how incredibly healing yoga can be, not only for the body, but for the mind & nervous system. When tears rolled down my cheeks during my first savasana, I understood the beautiful impact that yoga held, the release, and the healing power of letting go. 

   I found a yoga home after our move to IN, and prioritized & deepened my daily practice. I loved the fun energy & healing, meditative space! My journey on the mat transformed my life off the mat! I earned my 200HR RYT certification, and knew I needed to share this healing modality with the world, especially for stress & trauma healing. I earned additional certifications in Yoga Therapy for depression, anxiety, eating disorder recovery, Trauma-informed Yoga, Reiki Healing, and Polyvagal Theory & Somatic Parts Work.

   I love to create a sacred space, filled with stillness & fluid movements, sharing inspiring words, regulating the nervous system, and integrating somatic healing tools to take with you off of your mat into daily life. I want you to feel loved &  safe to slow down & create time for you to let go & heal. You’ll be led through an extended pranayama practice, intentional movement, self-healing reiki, and somatic release techniques within our vinyasa flow. You will find mental, physical, and yogic philosophical healing throughout our practice together, receiving full tension release & nourishing energy.
